We really like the super consistent quality of Normandy's offspring and Bubbles is no exception. She showed extremely well at the 2005 Empire Alpaca Show with a 2nd out of a big class of 15. Perfectly proportioned, Bubbles has the poise of a top quality alpaca that announces her "Presence". Bubbles' first cria out of Powerplay is Clapton whose fleece measured 17 micons and had almost a perfect fleece score at the Coastal Classic (where his 3/4 brother was Fawn Champion). At the New England Hands On Alpaca Fleece Off Bubble's first cria Clapton won Reserve Fawn Champion and the judge commented that his fleece was "absolutely beautiful". Bubbles is one of our top production females....her female cria born in 2010, Mimosa finished 4th at the Coastal Classic. All of her crias have been super nice.
Bubbles is a terrific mom who gets pregnant easily and who has textbook births. Why spend years experimenting with breeding variables, when you can get a female like Bubbles now re-bred to Katalyst and boast of crias with the best (Legacy Gold) blood line in the country. This year's cria out of Katalyst was Lacey a beautiful white female that will be at Bubble's side through December. Bubbles will get a year off this winter and will not be re-bred until next Spring....having had crias for five straight years...so her price is as an unbred foundation female. We could package her with her cria for $12,500.
